Our picturesque town is home to an array of waterfalls, such as Tiffany Falls, Sherman Falls, and Hermitage Falls. Visitors can also enjoy exploring the Fieldcote Memorial Park and Museum or golfing at Albatross Indoor Golf Centre, Knollwood Golf Course or one of the many local clubs.

I have stayed here twice. Beautiful historic building, but all of the modern conveniences. This is an 1820 historic building, but has been fully renovated. At the same time they have kept the character of the old building. It is the best place I have stayed in the Hamilton area. Breakfast was included, and it was very also very good. Great place.
The best hotel experience and the best overall customer service I have ever had, anywhere. My partner and I had our wedding nearby, so we needed somewhere for our wedding party and parents to stay. They really went above and beyond in every way. They helped our stay before and after our wedding run smoothly, which means so much to us.
We had a wonderful two nights at the Barracks Inn. The room was excellent! It offered a nice lounge on the second floor with an outdoor patio area looking over Wilson Street. Breakfast was available on the first floor. Great variety and delicious coffee. We were able to walk to a coffee shop and to the Pub for dinner. The Inn has been totally renovated with attention to the historical details. Truly lovely!!
The Barrack's Inn is a wonderful compliment to the charming downtown of Ancaster. It was a pleasure to stay in this Inn. From the welcoming staff to the charm and elegance of the building it was all fantastic! I highly recommend walking through the library onto the terrace facing Wilson St just to take in all the local sites and sounds. We look forward to staying again!
This place was perfect! We stayed here for a wedding and it was everything we hoped for. The 3 rooms I saw were huge! Everything was clean and fresh. There were little touches that were a step above your average hotel room. Breakfast was included and that was a pleasant treat. Would definitely stay here again.
This Inn was over the top! The staff was so courteous and polite! The room was beautiful! The breakfast was wonderful with the chef that was in the dining room with us preparing us omelettes! We were treated like royalty. An establishment that the owners and management should be very proud of!
This is a gorgeous boutique hotel. Room furnishings and decor are lovely, and the beds are the best! Breakfast was perfect - something for everyone. The staff were friendly and helpful too. We enjoyed a wonderful stay here, would highly recommend it.
Amazing hotel! Great service!! Very quiet and relaxing!! Loved the extra lounge room on the second floor! Beds and pillows very comfortable! Hotel was exceptionally clean and fully stocked with all of the essentials! Will be back for sure!! And so close to some great hiking!!
